I am a late-twenty-something JD/PhD Candidate living in Arlington, VA with a running problem. I started running 7 years ago while on Study Abroad in Argentina to get in shape, but fell in love and have never looked back. Its through running that I have met some of my best friends and my #runfamily - the people I can't live without. And I wouldn't trade my running experiences and memories for anything. In addition to being a full time student and running ridiculous amounts, I am a part times sales team member and running coach for a local running store - Potomac River Running. I have the opportunity to work with individuals who are just getting into running for the first time, getting back to running after a decade off, or who are trying to get that elusive PR or train for a longer distance. Its one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had - there is seriously nothing quite like getting a phone call, text or email of my runners telling me they ran "one mile further than they ever have before" or that they "cut five minutes off their 5k time." It brings a smile to my face every time - and it reminds me why I run: its such a personal thing, but no matter your pace, goals or ability - in the end we're all runners.
