In my professional life, I have spent 19 years as an operations corporate leader and business connector working for Fortune 500 public & private companies as well private equity and small businesses. In my personal life, team athletics evolved into endurance athletics as a way to balance my professional endeavors and provide training opportunities while traveling weekly. Running quickly became my first love however a back injury sidelined me. Returning after 9 years of treatment options, I found a new passion for health maintenance in order to extend my athletic life and the last 4 years have been spent running marathons, learning to swim, and competing in triathlons.
Through my LLS/Team In Training coaching/mentoring and the various run clubs and groups that I am involved in, I spend an average of 30+ hours a week in training groups, run club meetings, race expos and competitive endeavors. My focus is in using my bilingual abilities, people connector skills and networks to get more people involved in an active lifestyle. Fitness and those involved have become my new work passion; especially athletes who are returning to sport or just discovering endurance training and women 40+ who are trying to balance their personal/professional lives with their desire to be healthy and active.
